The Liapis family opened The Mad Greek restaurant in July of 1997 with only 40 seats. Over the years Nick, wife Rose and daughters Niki and Frieda worked together to expand the restaurant into the airy and elegant 5,000 square foot establishment that it is now. With a capacity now of over 160 seats, it is a beautiful space with high ceiling, hardwood and tile flooring and painted scenes of the Greek isles.

Our mission is to serve the best Greek food in the lower mainland in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Mad Greek offers a wide variety of delicious, authentic dishes from Greece like kalamari, our specialty roast lamb, moussaka, souvlakia, seafood and share platters. The restaurant offers entertainment with belly dancers on Saturday evenings between 7:30p.m.-8:30p.m.
